Following successful negotiations with Flintshire County Council, the Town Council can confirm that it is funding free car parking in the Buckley town centre car parks for the whole of December 2018.
Due to the Tommy Silhouette being “vandalised” following the Dedication of the British Legion War Memorial on Saturday last, the Silhouette has now been placed on the railings of the Town Clock balcony, together with a flag in remembrance of the fallen in the First World War. Both will remain in place until after the Royal British Legion Remembrance Day Parade on 11th November 2018.
Please note that due to annual leave the Citizens Advice Bureau Outreach Office will not be open on 3rd October 2018.
Flintshire County Council have requested the opinion of the Town Council regarding the naming of the new development on the site of the old Health Centre in Padeswood Road. The two options provided are :- Llys Hampson (in memory of Cllr Ron Hampson) or Llys Westlea as it is located close to Westwood School, its former name being West Lea Primary School.
